Onur Özgül Featured in Home Art Magazine’s July 2025 Issue!
The captivating project by interior architect Onur Özgül has taken center stage in Home Art Magazine’s July 2025 issue, under the title “Symphony of the Senses.” This special villa, located within Caresse Residences in Bodrum’s Asarlık Mevkii, came to life with Onur Özgül’s unique design philosophy. Blending modern lines with Bodrum’s unparalleled nature, this project presents a harmonious synthesis of aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.

Design Details Reflecting the Bodrum Spirit
This three-story villa, spanning a total of 447 square meters of interior space and 190 square meters of terrace, offers spacious and comfortable living. Onur Özgül emphasizes that the most crucial element in defining the soul of the space was the detailed analysis of the homeowner’s lifestyle, hobbies, and aesthetic preferences. As a result, the villa transformed from merely an architectural structure into a living, breathing space.

A Different Experience on Each Floor
Upper Floor: Offers a luxurious escape with a large terrace opening to sea views, a living room, kitchen, and spa area. The bedroom, equipped with a floating island sink and “flying” mirrors, creates an atmosphere that is both relaxing and impressive. A striking detail on this floor is the dominance of a blue color potpourri, which with its meditative effect, creates a refreshing and calming ambiance. Blue, drawing its meaning from the seas and skies, evokes tranquility, freedom, and freshness in the mind.
Garden Floor: Designed as the heart of social life. The focal point of the space is the spiral staircase made of natural wood and steel, rising like a work of art. The semi-permeable ribbed glass between the kitchen and living room creates an airy space while maintaining functional boundaries.
Lower Floor: Features a completely independent living area where sustainability is prioritized. The old kitchen was dismantled and repurposed, and built-in wardrobes were utilized with creative solutions. The large terrace and functional design provide ideal accommodation for guests and extended families.

Living Spaces Integrated with Nature
Throughout all floors of the villa, expansive terraces that integrate with nature, outdoor showers, and unique shading systems completely blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. The landscaping, enriched with Tuscan-inspired white tulles, Aegean plants, and Japanese garden touches, complements the home’s sensory design language. As a hidden surprise, a vaulted void discovered in the living room ceiling creates a magical atmosphere with amber LED lights, making it possible to capture different moods at any time of day.
